About Mike Seel, Founder/Owner of Five Star Baseball Mike Seel founded Five Star Baseball in 2013 after 16 years of private lessons and coaching his first year out of Rutgers University, where he received an athletic scholarship.  1997 coached the East Brunswick Bears Freshman Team and assisted Varsity HS to GMC Champions.   1999 coached the Spotswood JV and Assisted Varsity.   From 2000 to 2004, Mike coached several club teams with Extra Innings, PPH Baseball, and TNT. 2003-2004 was hired to Assitant Coach at Wagner College, Div I with Coach Joe Literrio, currently Head Coach with Rutgers University.   Worked with several pitchers that went on to play professional baseball, as well as MLB, such as Andrew Bailey -Rookie of the Year MLB 2009 and All Star. At Wagner, Coach Seel incorporated his Strength and Conditioning workouts to the program for pitchers and position specific training.   Currently runs a core training and velocity program the past two seasons which have helped students maintain arm strength and improve fastballs from ranges of 2 to 10 mph. Coach Seel has helped several of his players to move onto Div I through Div III baseball. In 4 years, Mike has led Five Star Baseball to 4 championships and 10 Finals in competitive tournaments. Five Star has now merged with Langan Baseball and Jersey Shore Prospects for elite tournament level play.
